Established in 1999 with 40 day-old kids on a farm near Crediton in Devon. In February 2002 our milk was made into cheese for the first time. We currently have three cheeses: Norsworthy, Gunstone and Posbury.
A washed curd semi-hard cheese ready in 6-8 weeks. It is made by hand to a Dutch Gouda recipe using unpasteurised milk. It has a burnt orange rind and a firm, buttery texture. It tastes creamy, smooth and the goatiness is gentle and very pleasant
A medium soft full fat cheese with a mild flavour which is ready in 2 weeks. At this stage it has a creamy texture; alternatively it can be left to ripen a little longer in which case it will become more crumbly.
